Well its been a long time coming, but we have finally revised and upgraded the look & functionality of our website at www.EVOLVEkids.com. Here are a some of the changes we have made:
Mobile Friendly: the most common complaint that we heard about our old website was that it wasn’t Mobile Friendly. Moving forward, that is a complaint we hope to never hear again (fingers crossed). We re-did and optimized every page on our site so that it performs and looks well on a mobile device. And the few items that don’t play well with mobile devices (here’s looking at you Birthday calendar) have been labeled as such and have suggested "work-arounds". If you find something that isn’t working well, please let us know.
Mobile Friendly Class Registration: our old Class Registration page was the biggest culprit of being of being unfriendly to mobile devices so we completely re-did that page so that it is easy to use on both desktop and mobile alike. Classes are now divided by class type (i.e gymnastics, tumbling, etc), then classes, then by day & time. Our old page is still available for those of you who like a challenge.
More Images: There would be no EVOLVEkids without our “kids” so our #1 design demand to our web designer was to incorporate ALOT of images of our kids in the gym. We think we are off to a good start with our video background on our Home page (EDIT: unfortunately, the video background only runs on desktop; it is a still image on mobile...sorry Camryn), videos embedded across the site, and image carousels on many pages. Additionally, we have created a media page so that you can see the trove of images and videos we have.
Overall, we tried to create a functional website that you, our Evolve family, will get use of of.
And perhaps as importantly, we tried to create a site that is pleasing to the eye. Because we know that you are our ambassadors to the general public, we wanted to create an online presence that you could be proud of. A website that you can show family and friends, and be proud to say, “EVOLVEkids is where I send my child”. Hopefully, we have succeeded.
