EVOLVE Team Tumbling & Trampoline, the competitive tumbling and double-mini trampoline team at EVOLVEkids, had a very successful outcome at its first meet of the 2019-2020 USTA season on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 in Rock Island, IL.
The team of 20 boys and girls came into the season with great aspirations. All of the veteran team members from 2018 (Lily Tupa, Ameliah Weber, Hannah Paputsa, Ayla Thanadabouth, Kelsey Conley, Lily Conroy, Logan Conroy, Anslie Rink, Aurora Weber, Reese Wyers, Hayden Seaholm-Cowman & Cami Pfeifer ) moved up a level in competition.
EVOLVE also added 8 new rookie team members to the squad: Scarlett Tupa, Patty Thiel, Alexis Perry, Fynn Bott, Parker Barry, Ella Sokolowski, Cora Passerman, & Claire Severson.
EVOLVE entered 38 total events with great results. In all 38 events, EVOVLE placed in the Top 9 with:
9 1st Place Finishes
13 2nd & 3rd Place Finishes
10 4th & 5th Place Finishes
4 rookie tumblers, Ella, Parker, Cora, and Claire placed 1st in events.
4 veteran tumblers, Ayla, Lily T, Anslie, and Cami placed 1st in events with Ayla having two 1st place finishes.
The 2019-20 season appears to picking up where the 2018-19 team left off with 3 Illinois State USTA Champions and 3 National USTA Champions.
