To Our EVOLVEkids Family:
As I mentioned in our post from a couple of days ago, Coronavirus news is rapidly evolving, and unfortunately that news has gotten worse.
With the closing of all schools, events, casinos, bars, and restaurants in the State of Illinois, we have decided that in the interest of the safety and health of our students that EVOLVEkids will follow Governor Pritzker’s lead and follow suit.
As such, EVOLVEkids will be closed from Monday, March 16th, 2020 thru Sunday, March 29th, 2020 for the following activities:
All recreational classes (Parent/Tot, SmallStars, NinjaStars, Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Cheer)
All Open Gyms
All Birthday Parties
EVOLVEkids has a scheduled Spring Break from Monday, March 23rd thru Sunday, March 29th, so we will only be missing one week of class which we will credit all accounts for a make-up class. Additionally, we will not be charging for tuition on Thursday, March 19th.
This is truly without precedent and our decision landscape seems to be changing by the hour. We will be keeping you informed as the situation warrants. I am traveling to get my daughter home from college in South Carolina, but I can be reached at (815) 416-9580 to answer any questions you may have.
Know also that we are trying to put together some type of free online instruction (via Facebook or YouTube) so our students have something gymnastics and/or tumbling to keep them engaged. That is TRULY a work in progress, but as I mentioned in my previous post (and I think more than ever it bears repeating):
“these are not only challenging times for us as adults, but the news of the Coronavirus can be very confusing to children”
Whatever EVOLVEkids can do to lessen the burden on your children, we aim to do. EVOLVEkids is nothing without our “kids”, and we are committed to always keeping them safe and sound.
